Imperative (imperativ)
The imperative is formed from the present-tense stem. Type 1 (-am) adds -j; types 2 and 3 add -i.
gledati (gledam): gledaj! / gledajte!
raditi (radim): radi! / radite!
pisati (pišem): piši! / pišite!
ići (idem): idi! / idite!
biti: budi! / budite!

Pričaj sporije!
Speak more slowly!
Dođite ovamo!
Come here!
Ne budi tužan.
Don't be sad.

Tips
- For the polite or plural form (vi), add -te to the ti form: radi → radite.
- Ne + imperative = prohibition: ne diraj! (don't touch!), ne idi! (don't go!).
