Pijaca vs. supermarket

A pijaca is an open-air market: fresh produce, meat, cheese and spices, often cheaper and fresher than in the supermarket. Supermarkets (market) include Maxi, Lidl, Univerexport and Roda. At the pijaca pay cash; in supermarkets cards are fine.
