Ne razumem: I don't understand
"Ne razumem" = I don't understand. "Ne govorim dobro srpski" = I don't speak Serbian well. "Možete li govoriti sporije?" = Could you speak more slowly? These three phrases take the pressure off any conversation.

Tips
- Serbs are usually very patient with learners. Say "Učim srpski" (I'm learning Serbian) and people will help you.
