Special letters: č, ć, đ, š, ž
The Serbian Latin alphabet has five letters with diacritics. Č and ć look alike but sound different: č is a hard "ch" (as in "church"), ć is a softer "ch". Đ is a soft "j" (as in "jeans"), š is "sh" and ž is "zh" (as in "measure").
Examples
čaj

Tips
- The difference between č and ć is subtle. It is fine to mix them up at first — Serbs will still understand you.
